We got this toy for our son from the Rite Aid drugstore last year for Christmas. We were super excited to find an R/C car for such a great price. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for! I don't even think he was able to use it once! It doesn't charge well, doesn't have good coverage, etc. Don't buy even though it looks nice!

I brought 2 of these vehicles last year for Christmas. I thought they would be great birthday presents for my nephews. They looked really cool,and like they would be alot of fun. Well their birthdays are comming up! I figured I would try them before sending them to Atlanta. After charging the battery for the required 8hrs one did,nt even work at all, the other had the same response, so I charged that battery alittle longer, and got the car to work alittle. However I put that battery into the other one and it will not work at all. What a disater. Now I have to go out and purchase gifts all over again. What is most disturbing is the price I see on this website. $75.00 They cannot be serious! This car isnt even worth $ 5.00. I agree totally with the other review. This is a great mis-reprensentation of merchandise. The creater of this vehicle should be stoned, or maybe they were during manufacturing! Did he or she not try this product? Awful,wasteful,pitiful, shameful total JUNK.

Held up less than 10 minutes

Grandpa bought this gift for his Grandsons & they loved it...until they pulled up the antenna. SNAP! Our kids are not rough with toys at all, so this came as a huge surprise. After charging the batteries (and Dad fixing the antenna), the boys took it out for a test drive. I'm pretty sure a feather would cause the plastic to crack!! My younger son's car is now in pieces with no major curb checks, leaps, or anything of that sort. The antenna on the other one just fell apart. A warranty repair would be nice, but I'm not sure I want them playing with these at all!

this toy stopped going forward and would only go backward

My son got this toy for his birthday and worked fine for a week and all of a sudden the car stopped going forward and would only go into reverse. Car was no good anymore.

This car is a real disappointment. We gave this to our nephew and did everything we were supposed to do, such as charging the battery a certain amount of time before first use. Worked great for two minutes and then the reverse stopped working. A day latter the whole car does not work at all. Feels cheap and even the motor sounds like it was struggling. We actually ordered two more for presents to others before we saw how bad this was. They were quickly returned. Do not bother with this one at all.

Flimsy build quality

I have to share the other reviews. very cool looking car, but very brittle plastic. It seems to have only two speeds, high and stop. The second day, the wheels would not turn, the screw in the middle of the controller steering wheel was loose and tightening it fixed that problem. Then, the car would only go backwards. The wires to the motor in the rear of the car are poorly attached and the red one came loose. I have not yet figured out where it goes, even though have pulled the motor out partially and tried both the apparently obvious and not so obvious locations. If you have just bought one and are reading this now, check all fittings carefully before use. carefully remove the cap over the motor connections and examine the solder joints, document where the wires go. Then post and tell me where to resolder my loose red wire! Ultimately... it's cheap junk and a Christmas disappointment.

I pulled out the motor and battery and threw them away along with the controller. Now, it's a popular push-around car toy. Still looks cool.

Fun but fragile

I bought 2 Vengeance Radio Controlled All-terrain race cars for my son, 8, and daughter, 5, for Christmas. It is now 5 days later and I have had to glue them back together multiple times (the plastic body is easy to break).

You can glue the plastic body back together easily but by day 5 both kids have broken their antennas and none of the hobby shops in town, nor Radio Shack, carry replacement transmitter antenna for this off-brand RC car.

The cars still work for now but the kids have to be within 15 feet of them to control them now.

I bought them for $19 and for that price I guess they are ok, but over that amount and I would suggest you buy better quality.

Not Good Quality

I got this toy for Christmas and i was really excited to play with it because it looked really cool and fast. It turns out that this toy was a huge disappointment. First of all the tires just slip and slide on tile or wood floors, so much for "All Terrain Vehicle". It also doesn't even move on grass. The best place to ride it is on carpet. And even then it is SUPPER slow. Also when the toy accelerates it just makes a loud grinding noise like it is breaking. Almost every time i use it, the shocks on the front come apart and i have to put them back together. And for the finally of the disappointment the battery only lasts for two or three minutes. With this toy "LOOKS ARE VERY DECEIVING" But of course if you are into buying really nice looking paper weights then this is the product for you.

Oh yeah, the remote control antenna will break off if you pull it out, but tahts normal.

My husband should have read the reviews prior to purchasing this. Or at least have been home to see his grade-school son try his hardest not to cry when the antenna broke off. Or be home to see how often he has to charge the battery. Did I mention this is all in the last 30 hours, with actually play time being less than an hour? What a disappointment for this momma!! Of course, the box doesn't mention that the battery holds a poor charge or that the antenna is of poor quality. The car certainly has eye candy appeal, but that is where it ends. Anyone know where to find a replacement antenna?

I bought 2 of these for my kids for Christmas. They were great looking and a decent price. After charging the 8 hours, we took them out for the FIRST time. My husband and I were with them. One car wouldn't get up speed, but my son kept trying. Suddenly, when the car bumped into the curb (not at a high rate of speed), the back wheel just broke off. No way to fix it. We had only been using it maybe 3 minutes. Unbelieveable! This company should be ashamed of themselves for selling a CHILD's toy that's so poorly made. The "decent" price I paid was for, what I thought, a well made toy. Had I known this, I wouldn't have paid $1.00 for this toy, then would have used it only to put upon a shelf for looking.
